I Can't Believe It!
I can't believe that I have actually followed through with something without getting sidetracked!
I actually learned of the Simpleology program 3 days ago, 8/29/05, and when my good buddy, Tellman Knudson told me about the site, I immediately checked it out.
Here's what I did that very first day...
* Read the web site
* Signed up for free Simpleology 101 - DID NOT sign up for 102 (why in a minute)
* Printed out the checklist (3-hole punched it and put it in a binder)
* Watched the Quick Start video
* Did lesson 1, took the quiz, answered the questions
* Printed and posted the Memory Joggers in 3 places around my house
* Printed the Virtuosity book (added it to the binder)
* Read the ENTIRE Virtuosity book from front to back
* Used a highlighter on important statements as I read
* Burned the MP3 audios onto a CD so I can listen to it when I work out
I DEFINITELY followed through on that first day with everything I was supposed to do, and since one of the final instructions for the day was to read as much of the Virtuosity book as I want, I just read the WHOLE DARN THING!
I want to cheat so bad by jumping ahead, but I understand that I'll get more out of it taking it one day at a time, so that's what I'm committed to doing.
Now, I really wanted to take advantage of the special, one-time offer for Simpleology 102, but the way I looked at it was that if/when I get it, I'm getting it strictly for the program itself, and not for the bonuses that I would have received by getting it on day 1.
Also, since my main problem is lack of focus, I know myself well enough that if I got 102, not only would I be jumping around looking at the different bonuses, but curiosity would get the best of me, and I'd neglect 101 to dive into 102.
So I thought it best to force myself to be patient (another problem I have... impatience), follow 101 how it's laid out, and because I was already sold on 101, I knew that I would eventually get 102 anyway. Heck, that's half the reason, I think, for wanting to rush through 101... so I can take advantage of 102.
But I guess I'll be a good boy... at least in this instance. (wink, wink)
