How To Get More From Simpleology!

I mentioned in a previous post that I highlighted important details as I read through the Virtuosity book. I highly recommend doing this, and here is how I'm using this little extra strategy to help retain the information I learn on a daily basis...

After doing today's assignment:

1. Read your current day's lesson in the Virtuosity book.
2. Highlight the most crucial points made on that day.
3. Write ONLY those points you highlighted onto a sheet of paper.
4. Put that sheet of paper in your binder right before your next day's assignment on your Checklist.
5. The next day, start by reading that page(s) of highlights.
6. Turn the page and begin today's lesson in the checklist.
7. Go back to step 1 and repeat.

For example, I am currently on day #4. I've highlighted the major points that I have read, I wrote those major points neatly on yellow legal paper, and I placed that paper in my binder so that when I go to tomorrow's lesson, that page is the first thing I see. I will then instantly read all of the highlighted points BEFORE beginning that day's lesson. This gives me a great way of retaining the info that I read on previous days.

Once you've done this once, you'll see how quick and easy it is. Yeah, it takes a few minutes to write down the highlighted points onto a piece of paper, but for someone who has a million ideas a day, this helps me get back on track.

Let me know if this helps, and good luck!
